The iPhone 14 is expected to also feature rounded volume buttons akin to the iPhone 4 and 5 as well as also boasting redesigned speaker and microphone grilles at the bottom of the handset.
One thing that won’t be changing, at least for some iPhone 14 models, is that the lightning port will be sticking around for a while longer.
For fans that have long been hoping Apple adopts the USB-C port for the iPhone, this could be a controversial sticking point.
Prosser’s comments about the iPhone 14, which were highlighted in a post by MacRumours, are also in keeping with what analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said about the 2022 iPhone earlier this year.

Whether all iPhone 14 models drop the notch in favour of a punch hole camera reportedly depends on production yields.
